One of the central elements of the beautification of the new Symphony 34 residential complex in Moscow will be a Japanese garden, implemented by the well-known Dutch bureau West 8

On May 27, Moscow hosted the conference “Will Premium Remain Premium?”. Using the Symphony 34 residential complex as an example, MR Group shared fresh data on topical issues in the construction industry: from import substitution to changes in the geography of the capital's high-budget market for new buildings.

The Symphony 34 beautification project was presented as part of the event, one of the main elements of which will be a Japanese garden designed by the famous Dutch bureau West 8. It was inspired by the Kyoto Palace Gardens. The space is conceived as a secret place for relaxation and meditation – on an area of about 850 square meters. m will house its own pond and a Japanese-style pavilion with various functional purposes. In accordance with Japanese traditions, a lot of attention is paid to landscaping in the project: pine trees, fragrant herbs, hosta, hydrangea, purple willows, etc. The area of internal improvement of the project is 1.1 hectares. More than 70% of the entire area will be covered with lush trees, shrubs and flowers.

“We believe that high-rise residential buildings should be located in a natural environment, so it is very important to bring seasonality to the landscape of the project. We also designed a secret garden in the middle of the park area, which will be another beautiful addition to the courtyard,” says West 8 CEO Adrian Göse.

The Symphony 34 LCD project was developed by the well-known bureau Kleinewelt Architekten, which has been successfully working in the capital for a long time. “We did not seek to include the appearance of the complex in a certain hierarchy of architectural styles. The desire to classify gives rise to dependence on the framework in which this or that building is defined. Architectural style, in our opinion, is a theoretical concept formed over the years. It will be determined by time, and ideally eternity. The composition of various volumes, materials and facade structures creates the architectural language of the project, woven from a variety of solutions, turning it into a new urban dominant”, say the architects.

The Symphony 34 residential complex will consist of four buildings of different heights from 36 to 54 floors. Materials from recognized European brands are used in construction and decoration – Knauf, Schneider, Kerama Marazzi, etc. Commissioning is scheduled for 2025.
