Hainan & nbsp; – an island in the South China Sea and one of the main centers of tourism in China. Tourists regularly come to Yazhou District on the island to celebrate their weddings in scenic spots. For the ceremony, a whole infrastructure has been created here, and recently an unusual chapel for lovers appeared on the island, named after the ancient Greek goddess Disis (she was the patroness of the sunset time of the day) & nbsp; – it was designed by the Shanghai UDG bureau.
The chapel stands on a round stepped pedestal. There is a swimming pool in the center, which is crossed by a bridge leading into the building. The building itself has a triangular silhouette. The cladding is wood and the interior is treated concrete. UDG architects deliberately deprived the chapel of features associated with any particular religion, and came up with an unusual constructive solution: it can rotate around its axis so that through the opening you can always see the sunset & nbsp; – after all, all lovers love to admire it!
