Travel & mdash; this is an experience that we receive through sensory perception, it allows us to learn about the world, and tourist souvenirs should not only be proof of the path traveled, but also bearers of memories. In other words, the value and purpose of souvenir collecting is to help travelers remember their unique experiences. However, mass-produced keychains, T-shirts and snowballs devalue the souvenir's potential, failing to form deeper emotional connections between travel and experience. Collecting sound opens up a new dimension to travel, allowing travelers to experience and capture any precious moment in a new way. MORII & mdash; it is a system for capturing that fleeting audio experience. Using MORII, travelers can create a variety of visual images made up of sound recordings and their collected heart rate responses. In addition, travelers can create unique music composed of ambient sounds and physical reactions, converting frequencies to notes and heartbeats to rhythms. MORII will also render sound, heart rate and other surrounding information for printing souvenir portraits, which can also act as a physical catalog for a collection of digital souvenirs.
