Khrushchevs leave as a sign of the landscape of the Moscow outskirts – but remain in the history of Soviet architecture. Removal of excess walkdedicated to residential architecture of the late 1950s – early 1970s. From exemplary typical panel and brick five-story buildings with small-sized apartments & nbsp; – it was they who were popularly called Khrushchevs & nbsp; – to experimental development at the turn of the 1960s & nbsp; – 1970s.

They say that Yuri Mikhailovich Luzhkov loved turrets, a flat roof, apparently, was associated for him with those same Khrushchevs, freed from architectural excesses. One way or another, but a lot of bizarre buildings were built in the Luzhkov era.

The heap of architectural styles becomes a map of the economic and social changes that began with the collapse of the USSR. Participants of the walk “Hi-tech and kitsch. Luzhkov style” will get acquainted with such examples of public, business and residential buildings as the shopping center “Nautilus”, “Unicombank”, residential complex “House on Myasnitskaya”, the theater Et Cetera and the house-egg on Mashkova street.
