The Russian manufacturer of tiles and porcelain stoneware has carried out a large-scale modernization of production facilities at the NKSI plant and launched a new production line for large-format tiles (80×80 cm and 80×160 cm).
On May 28, 2021, a solemn presentation of the NKSI plant (Noginsk Combine of Building Products) took place after the modernization of production facilities to launch mass production of new formats of porcelain stoneware.
In mid-2020, the Industrial Development Fund (VEB.RF Group) provided Estima with a concessional loan of 271 million rubles for the modernization of production facilities and launching the production of new XXL porcelain stoneware formats with a maximum size of 80×160 cm.The total budget of the project exceeded 600 million rubles.
The funds raised were used to replace almost the entire production line – a super-powerful eight-ton hydraulic press for the production of large-format tiles, a digital machine for decorating tiles and producing panels from large-sized tiles, installing a modern robotic glazing system with smart production technology 4.0, as well as modernizing and automating the lines. sorting and packing.
Smart manufacturing will help improve the efficiency of the entire glazing process and eliminate the “human factor”. The production equipment will be able to make adjustments to the technological process itself, which will increase the flexibility of processes, reduce the cost of production by 10%, and also reduce the time for the release of new products by 20%.
Estima has already launched the first line of large-format porcelain stoneware on the Russian market. The brand's novelty is the XXL collection in the most relevant sizes today – 80×80 and 80×160. In the near future, sizes 80x180cm, 120x120cm, 20x160cm and 20×180 will be added to the line.
