Futuristic opera house in Hong Kong


From a distance, the building resembles a canopy with heavy curtains, from a distance it looks like a huge tunnel. This is how the new eight-story art center Xiqu looks like, where a traditional Chinese opera is staged

New building of the cultural center in Hong Kong – the brainchild of Vancouver-based architecture firm Revery Architecture and local studio Ronald Lu & amp; Partners. The aim of the project was to make the performing arts more attractive to the general public and thus interest the younger generation with performing in Xiqu.
