In total, Tresoldi installed 46 columns made of wire mesh and illuminated by spotlights. The resulting series of colonnades offers guests an alternative route that allows them to look at the park from new angles. By recreating the language of classical architecture in a translucent form, the artist hopes the installation will encourage people to think about the world around them while contemplating seascapes. “Opera celebrates the relationship of man with the environment. The Strait of Messina, a magnetic place that I consider the eternal monument of Reggio Calabria,” adds Edoardo.
