A house has appeared in the Japanese city of Kobe that looks like a large ship that is about to set sail

In the Japanese city of Kobe, the Yasuda Koichi Lab and Yasuda Studio teams have designed an unusual private house that resembles a ship. This decision is dictated by the location of the building: it stands on a sloping site, right at the fork of two roads. The triangular shape follows the shape of a Y-junction, effectively blending into the urban environment. /uploads/2022/02/78fed45c9f431ddeddd53fdafe7518e0.jpg” width=”728″ height=”486″ class=”lazy-image__image _align-center” data-v-371a4ab7=”1″ alt=”Photo #2 – Built in Japan ship-shaped house” />
Inside, the home is a bright, open-plan space with storage systems on the walls. A spiral staircase leads to the upper floors, located in the “fore” part of the building, which saves usable space. The feeling of being on a ship is enhanced by panoramic windows and a long balcony resembling a deck. And in the evening, the facades of the building seem to be painted in metallic gray and become like the skin of a cruise ship. wp-content/uploads/2022/02/0286949428591dbf2f6cf21a8abb90c2.jpg” width=”728″ height=”486″ class=”lazy-image__image _align-center” data-v-371a4ab7=”1″ alt=”Photo #4 – In Japan, they built a house in the shape of a ship jpg” width=”727″ height=”482″ class=”lazy-image__image _align-center” data-v-371a4ab7=”1″ alt=”Photo #5 – A ship-shaped house was built in Japan” />
