Concern Krost and Zaha Hadid Architects will build a multifunctional residential cluster in Moscow in the 82nd quarter of Horoshevo-Mnevnikov
The joint project of the Krost concern and the bureau Zaha Hadid Architects will be the first multifunctional residential complex of this scale in Russia. The main idea of British architects & nbsp; – to implement the principles of natural biogeocenosis, anthropomorphic environment and restore the connection of man with the surrounding space.
“Historically, high-rise construction has always existed in Moscow, and today there are such points, for example, Moscow City. New high-rise centers will also appear & nbsp; – South Port, which will become a new development center in the South-East of the city, the Big City, as well as sites that will be built up during the renovation program. Many points of attraction appear as a result of international architectural competitions, and foreign architects have been working in Moscow for a long time. Zaha Hadid Architects is successfully implementing a number of projects, and in the future, another unique, also high-rise, object will appear in Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, ”Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov comments on this project.
The total area of apartments in the new residential cluster in Khoroshevo-Mnevniki will amount to 184 thousand sq. M. meters. The total area of non-residential premises & nbsp; – 86 thousand sq. meters. The stylobate will become the central infrastructure core, which will house office and retail space, modern clinics, sports and entertainment centers, educational institutions, cafes, restaurants and much more. The second level will house townhouses and private space for their residents. The main living space is represented by multi-level towers up to 200 meters high.
One of the features of the project will be the creation of park areas at different heights & nbsp; – starting from the public space at ground level and continuing with a cascade of green gardens located on the roof of the stylobate. Also, a landscaped area of 2.6 hectares with walking alleys 2.5 km long will be formed. The central public space will be a square with a large number of outdoor furniture and art objects.
The project is planned to be implemented in several stages until 2028.
